Dr. Stuart Gadsden

A former installer customer of Kensa's, Stuart joined the business in 2015, bringing a wealth of renewables experience both in academia and practice. Stuart is a long-standing member of MCS and industry stakeholder working groups.

Ieman Barmaki

Formerly Head of Asset Management and Sustainability at Enfield Council. Ieman helps local & regional government to achieve their 2030 Carbon reduction ambitions by developing innovative renewable heating projects within the social housing sector.

Iain Carr

Iain has a wealth of renewables experience in both technology and technical application. A long-standing ambassador of heat pump technology, with experience in supply chain, manufacturing and contracting.

Matt Zealley

After starting with renewables in 2014, Matt joined Kensa in 2019 and is well placed to guide new and existing clients through their journey to a successful GSHP installation.

Mark Potter

Mark has been involved with Renewable technologies through involvement with supply chain and with initiatives supporting the Energy Company Obligation, Renewable Heat Incentive and Green Deal.

Phillip Evans

Phil has over 15 years experience in the construction industry & 10 years with Social Housing clients. The realisation of the challenges to climate change & the carbon reduction commitments of the UK is what motivated Phil to join Kensa Contracting.

Richard Jones

Richard started his career in the renewable sector in 2011. In 2021 he joined Kensa Contracting to develop the non-domestic ground source heat pump commercial sales arm, concentrating on public & private sector large-scale installations.

Clare Hasprey-Young

Lee Danysz

Lee joined Kensa in 2019, as a time-served plumbing and heating engineer Lee has a wealth of experience in the industry. As Operations Director, Lee is responsible for the successful installation of large-scale GSHP installations.

Ashley Craighill

Ashley is a time-served heating engineer who has worked in the renewables & ECO sector for over 10 years. Ashley has worked on the successful delivery of multiple large-scale GSHP installations in retrofit social housing, new build & commercial.

Mark Montgomery

With a background in renewable energy and OFGEM funding liaison, Mark manages Kensa Contracting's ECO funding compliance, together with project delivery compliance with Kensa Contracting's accredited bodies.

Matthew Fontaine

Matt joined Kensa in 2017, bringing with him 8 years of surveying experience. Matt is responsible for managing the design process from survey to hand over, ensuring client satisfaction, MCS compliance and delivering first class system performance.

Samuel Crouch

Samuel has over 15 years of Heating & Plumbing experience with roles in Site & Project Management for 10 years. He moved to renewables in 2015 with the goal to help UK carbon reduction. At Kensa, Sam manages & supports the Project Management team.

Paul Fearns

Paul joined Kensa Contracting in 2017. Paul has over 30 years of experience in the heating industry with 25 years in renewable energy as an installer & in various management positions. Paul has a working knowledge of compliance requirements.

David Broom

David joined Kensa in 2008. Specialising in large scale technical sales to the new build and retrofit markets, David's in depth knowledge of both commercial implications and practical considerations afford him a position as an industry expert.

Stephanie Gregory

Marketing renewables since 2007, Stephanie joined Kensa in 2011 and is responsible for marketing, corporate and public affairs, advocating the Kensa Group of companies and shaping the UKs optimum transition to decarbonised heating and cooling.

Tamsin Lishman

Tamsin is an Oxford graduate of Engineering Science and a Fellow of the Energy Institute and has held senior positions at EnergyNest, Northumbrian Water Group, Centrica, and BP. Tamsin was appointed as CEO in 2023.

James Standley

James is responsible for delivering customer and shareholder value through Kensa’s manufacturing, field delivery, technical support and NPD activities. James was appointed COO of The Kensa Group in 2022.

Matthew Taylor

Matthew Taylor, Lord Taylor of Goss Moor joined Kensa as Non-Executive Chairman on 1st February 2014.

Mel Adderley

A qualified Chartered Accountant, Mel joined Kensa in 2009 as Finance Director and provides overall financial advice and control and supports the finance team in fulfilling its duties.

Chris Miles

Chris joined Kensa in 2020. He invested in and led the growth of a renewable heat business from 2005, which was later sold to a major utility. Chris has had board-level experience across 8 businesses in the low-carbon energy sector.

Andrew Rendel

Andrew is an Investment Director in Legal & General Capital’s Clean Energy team. He has been working in the renewables & cleantech sectors for over a decade during which he has developed expertise across debt, private equity & venture capital.

Jo Butlin

Jo joined Kensa in 2022 with over 26 years of experience in the energy sector. She now focuses on the UK’s ambition to move to Net Zero and is chair of OFGEM’s ESO performance panel and a founding member and Director of the Women Utilities Network.
